Early arrivals and late departures:
If your arrival is early in the day and you prefer immediate access to your room, we recommend
reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. For late departures, you must notify the Front Desk ahead of time. A fee of half the night (depending on the length of late check out) will be accessed. If you choose not to pay the late check-out fee, we will be glad to store your bags.
Guaranteed reservations and deposits:
Hotel St. Michel guarantees your reservation. We assure you of a room even if you check in late. All reservations must be guaranteed to a major credit card.
Cancellation and no show policy:
Cancellations for a hotel room reservation must be received 24 hours prior to the
expected day of arrival. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the required date, the Hotel will charge for one night's accommodation. Any amount paid in advance (pre pay) for any room stay is reimbursable, minus one night's accommodation. The same applies for no shows.
Smoking policy:
The Hotel St. Michel is a 100% non-smoking hotel. We have public area on the outside for smoking. Smoking in the rooms will not be tolerated. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in the rooms, and is strictly enforced.
Pet policy:
In order to bring your pet, it must be under 45 pounds, properly trained, and kept in a crate (pet carrier). A deposit of $250.00 will be added to your room folio upon check in. When it is determined that your pet has not caused damage, the $250.00 will be removed.
Credit and debit cards:
Please note that debit cards will be charged full nights stay upon arrival. This is done to avoid double processing which authorizes and then holds monies physically. In certain situations, after checkout the money is charged, but sometimes the authorization does not lift in a timely manner causing it to appear as a double billing. After 3 business days this is lifted, but to not tie up funds and cause disputes, we charge right away.
